A risky ploy threatens relationships on General Hospital as Charlotte Cassadine has convinced Danny Morgan to cook up a fake leverage against Drew Cain so he'll allow Danny to see his younger sister Sccout. Although Danny was reluctant to go the underhandd way, Charlotte insisted that when Drew goes low, Danny go lower.
At the same time, Alexis Davis tried to convince Drew to let Scout visit. When Drew made things difficult, Jack Brennan offered Alexis dirt on the former congressman in exchange for intel about Jasper Jacks Enterprises. If this pact is made, Alexis and Jack could use dirt on Drew at the same time that Danny and Charlotte concoct a false case against him in a situation that could blow up in their faces.
5 Chaotic Outcomes From Danny and Charlotte’s Ploy 1) The fake plot clashes with WSB evidence against Drew

As mentioned above, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) convinced Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) to cook up a false case to trap Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in a legal issue. They figured that once in trouble, Drew may agree to let his daughter, Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski), who is also Danny’s half-sister, visit her maternal family.
Meanwhile, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) offered Scout’s grandmother, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), enough material on Drew that may help take down the latter. In return, Jack wants some information on Jasper Jacks Enterprises. As Jack's real info is being used by Alexis against Drew, Danny and Charlotte’s fake case may interfere with it, diluting the efficacy of either.
2) Risk of juvenile records and troublemaker stigmas

If Danny and Charlotte’s crime fails or they inadvertently get exposed, it could destroy the teenagers’ futures. This problem may blow up as Drew was a former congressman, making his allegations worthy of media coverage. On the official papers, the teens may have a juvenile record that may follows them into adulthood.
On the other hand, they will be known as bad apples, which Drew already sees Danny as. As such, Danny may fail to achieve his goal since the this proves Drew's point. Also, they could become isolated as bad influence for the other youngsters. In response to the mess, whether Danny and Charlotte follow their fathers’ past actions and skip town, remains to be seen.

3) Drew alerted and ruthlessly vindictive

If Drew Cain learns about Danny and Charlotte’s scheme to take him down with a fake charge against him, the quick-tempered congressman would be livid. Since Drew hates Danny’s father and his own twin, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), the former congressman will redirect his anger towards his nephew. He will also look for underhand ways to take revenge on Charlotte and her father, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
Once forewarned, Drew may move the available machinery to fix his reputation and expose the two culprits. He might also become aware of any other attacks on his image. As such, when Alexis makes her move with the dirt provided by Brennan, she may fail to take down Drew as intended.
4) Disappointment from Jason and Valentin

Both Jason and Valentin are busy turning their lives around. Jason is putting Danny first and leaving his past behind. The longtime henchman has walked out of the mob world. He is yet to decide on a new career for himself. When he learns that his son has chosen criminal activity and illegal paths, he will be very disappointed.
Meanwhile, Valentin is moving away from his past career choices. Putting his fugitive life behind him, the Cassadine scion is eyeing to buy and run legal businesses in Port Charles. He won't be happy to learn that Charlotte let her dark tendencies rule her actions. Valentin may chastise his daughter and threaten to send her back to her controlling mother.
5) Deepening fracture in relationship with Scout

As mentioned before, Danny and Charlotte want to teach Drew a lesson as the vindictive father refuses to let Danny interact with Scout. However, building up a false case against Drew and trying to take him down or defame him may become counterproductive. Scout will also be brought into the spotlight spoiling her future. Also, a relationship built on the foundation of malicious conspiracy and vendetta will likely end in Scout feeling betrayed.
Moreover, if Drew survives the attack, he will be furious and throw his weight around, which won't bode well for Scout's emotional peace. Alternatively, any possibility of Drew relenting would be lost forever if Danny and Charlotte need to go into hiding or are caught by authorities. This mess could ruin Scout and Danny's relationship for good.
