Anne Hathaway’s maternity style could launch 1,000 ships, thanks to The Odyssey actress’s newfound penchant for bump-baring styles, wild sculptural silhouettes, and divisive designs. And on August 14, Hathaway continued her style reign as mother (figuratively and literally) while framing her baby bump in a polarizing red halterneck top that was cascading with ruffles.
Since announcing her third pregnancy in June, Hathaway’s baby bump has become her signature accessory—and she continued that trend with a 3D look while stepping out at the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. In a video shared by Disney’s Instagram account on Friday, the 43-year-old star revealed that she’s hard at work on the highly-anticipated film Princess Diaries 3 in an asymmetrical high-low top.

Hathaway’s halterneck tunic contrasted its ‘90s-inspired minimalist neckline with fluted red silk fabric, transforming into a maximalist style statement with a hip-high slit on her left side that was trimmed with flounces. On the right, the sculptural look went all the way down to her calves, partially covering her elegant white palazzo pants.

The Oscar-winning star pulled her signature long dark brunette hair back into a romantic bun with face-framing tendrils, showing off a pair of fan-shaped earrings as well as a dark smoky eyeshadow, sculpted cheekbones, and a mauve lipstick.

Case in point: She wowed at the world premiere of The End of Oak Street on August 9 in a vivid two-toned light blue and red halterneck top that exposed her expectant figure, thanks to a dramatic cropped high-low design and a pair of low-rise blue jeans. One day later, Hathaway was at it again, showing off a glimpse of her bare stomach in a black ruffled sleeveless top with an open front and a pair of matching wide-legged pants.
