Bettina Anderson became Bettina Trump when she married Donald Trump Jr, and it didn't take long for her to make some big changes.
The 39-year-old tied the knot with the president's son, 48, in the Bahamas on May 23, 2026, just days after making their marriage official via a Florida marriage application. The couple were joined by the groom's siblings - Ivanka Trump, Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump - at the ceremony, though President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump weren't in attendance.
As Bettina and Don Jr settle into their life as a married couple, sources have suggested the former model has dreams of one day becoming the first lady. In response to the suggestions, PR expert Ryan McCormick said the hints are all in Bettina's Instagram.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, he shared, "What I have observed about Bettina is that the quality of her photos and posts has changed remarkably since she first started posting on Instagram."
Ryan explained, "Her clothing, scenery, and events have become much more elegant. As of December 2024, Bettina had about 47,000 followers on Instagram, and she now has over 190,000, with approximately 48,000 gained after her May 2026 wedding."

He continued, "From a PR perspective, the new Mrs. Trump seems to be building a role as the First Lady for Gen Z and beyond. Her profile reads “Married, not domesticated,” which is empowering, yet at the same time, she’ll quote Corinthians, which anchors her toward traditional values."
Within hours of marrying Don Jr, Bettina had changed her Instagram handle from her maiden name of Anderson to Trump. She also posted a snap of her wedding gown with the words "Mrs. Trump" embroidered on the fabric.
Ryan concluded, "Bettina also displays wit and humor in her posts. I don’t particularly see her becoming a political activist in the future, but I do see her as someone mainstream America could feel comfortable connecting with."

His comments come after sources suggested what Bettina wants from her future. "First lady? Are you kidding? Of course, she would love that.
"That is pretty much her life goal realized. She changed her handle on Instagram to Trump faster than posting any wedding photos," a source told The Daily Mail.
Bettina's first lady dreams could come sooner than some expect. A recent poll showed Don Jr is Republican voters' top pick to succeed his father in the White House.
