LSU football missed on another offensive line prospect in the 2027 cycle. Four-star Caden Moss committed to Ohio State, according to a report from Rivals' Hayes Fawcett on Friday.

The Tigers lost four-star tackle Kal-El Johnson to Georgia Tech and five-star guard Albert Simien to Notre Dame earlier this week. Despite the recent misses, LSU's recruiting class remains in good shape and the Tigers are in pursuit of a few blue-chip offensive lineman.

Moss, a native of Jackson, MS, was recruited by Kiffin when he held the reins at Ole Miss. The interest on Kiffin's side didn't change when he took the LSU job, and Moss remained one of the top targets. He made an official visit to Baton Rouge in March.

Moss made three trips to Oxford after his time with the Tigers and also took official visits to Ohio State, Kentucky and Oregon. Ryan Day and staff ultimately won the race for Moss' decision.

Rivals' Industry Rankings puts Moss as the top recruit out of Mississippi. The outlet ranks him No. 5 at his position and No. 45 overall in the 2027 cycle.
