Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever welcomed Aliyah Boston back on Saturday night.

After missing their first two preseason games due to a lower leg injury, Boston was cleared to make her preseason debut on Saturday against the Nigeria Women’s National Team.

Clark was delighted to get her star teammate back for their final tune-up game before the start of the WNBA season.

Clark and Boston shared a special pregame moment ahead of tip-off. The two had their customary hug on the bench. The Fever posted the video on social media, which Clark shared via an Instagram story along with her reaction.

“Suddenly all was right in the world,” Clark wrote.

This endearing moment has been a regular scene for Fever games. It has become a tradition for Clark and Boston. During the embrace, they tell each other that, “You're going to be amazing, because you are amazing.”

Boston logged 10 minutes in her first taste of action. She finished with four points, one rebound, six assists and a block.

Clark didn’t play much in the blowout either. The former WNBA Rookie of the Year registered 12 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal and two triples in just 13 minutes of play.

It was a lopsided victory for the Fever as they utterly dominated Nigeria, 105-57.

Clark, Boston and the rest of the squad have one week to prepare for the regular season. They will play their first game on May 9 in a home matchup against the Dallas Wings.
