Allman was processed and released on personal recognizance bail and had no connection to the school, WMUR reported.

Allman's wife, Marieangela King, filed for divorce in May 2025 after 12 years of marriage. Allman had previously filed for divorce from King in 2021, but the couple seemed to have reconciled, and he filed a motion to dismiss the divorce in 2024, which was granted a week later.

King and Cher came into conflict after the former accused the latter of hiring men to kidnap him in 2022. Cher denied the allegation, claiming, "That rumor is not true."

The singer filed to place her son under a conservatorship in 2023, claiming he had "severe mental health and substance abuse issues" that made him "substantially unable to manage his financial resources." She dropped the filing in September 2024.

"This outcome allows the parties to focus on healing and rebuilding their family bond, a process that began during mediation and continues today," Allman's attorneys at Cage & Miles LLP said at the time.

Allman, 49, is Cher's only child with the late Allman Brothers Band musician Gregg Allman, to whom she was married from 1975 to 1979. Cher is also mother to Chaz Bono, whom she had with Sonny Bono in 1969.
