- Rachel Recchia said that she found Bryan Abasolo on Hinge.

- The *Bachelorette* star said that she "reported him for domestic terrorism" upon finding his account.

- Abasolo's ex, Rachel Lindsay, said that "it's not shocking that he was on the apps after" their divorce.

Rachel Recchia doesn't want to see Bryan Abasolo on the dating apps.

The reality star interviewed fellow *Bachelorette* alum Rachel Lindsay on her podcast *Bachelor Happy Hour*, revealing that she encountered the latter's ex-husband, Bryan Abasolo (a.k.a. "Dr. Abs") on Hinge shortly after their separation.

"One year ago, me and Rachel were at dinner," she said. "And this is when I was in my Hinge era. And I was swiping on Hinge and I found Bryan on Hinge."

Recchia didn't think that Abasolo, who filed for divorce from Lindsay in January 2024 after four years of marriage, should be back in the online dating pool so soon, so she attempted to bump him off of the app.

"I reported him for domestic terrorism," she said. "And that man is probably still on the app to this day. I need people to know that I'm out here doing the work."

Representatives for Abasolo, Recchia, and Hinge did not immediately respond to **'s request for comment.

Hinge does not currently have a dedicated reporting function to flag domestic terrorism specifically. However, if a user selects "Someone is in danger" in the app's reporting menu, one of the subsequent reasons for reporting is "This person is posting about terrorism."

After finishing in third place on season 21 of *The Bachelor*, Lindsay headlined season 13 of *The Bachelorette* in 2017. She accepted a marriage proposal from Abasolo at the end of the season, and the couple married two years later in August 2019.

Abasolo announced his split from Lindsay in an Instagram post in January 2024.

"Many of you know me as a chiropractor, and also as a husband, my proudest role so far. After more than 4 years of marriage, Rachel and I have made the difficult decision to part ways and start anew," he wrote at the time. "My parents have been married forever and I'm a family man, but sometimes loving yourself and your partner means you must let go. I wanted you to hear it from the source before the blogs start making up their own reality. Please respect the spaces of our family and friends as we figure out our next steps."

On *Bachelor Happy Hour*, Lindsay said that she wasn't surprised to hear that Abasolo started using dating apps, but noted that she's never used the platforms herself. “I put myself out there, but I've never been on a dating app, but he was on the apps before we got together," she explained. "So it's not shocking that he was on the apps after. That's his form of dating. So it doesn't shock me, as he should, good for him."

Lindsay also said that new romantic experiences came more quickly than she anticipated. "I feel like it didn't take me as long as I thought to just go out there and have fun," she said. "Situations just kind of presented themselves to me. But I was a shell of myself."

Lindsay is now writing a book about her experiences. “We are working on it," she said. "I have written it, written quite a bit, but I'm not done by any means.”
