Prince Harry is planning to step up his presence in Britain significantly, with visits set to take place every few months over the coming year.
The 41-year-old duke, buoyed by a family reunion with King Charles at Highgrove in July, will next travel to the UK in September for a stay lasting roughly a week.
His schedule during that trip will centre on charitable commitments, including work with WellChild, the seriously ill children's charity he serves as patron, alongside preparations for the Invictus Games, due to be staged in Birmingham next summer.
The increased frequency of visits reflects Harry's desire to maintain closer ties with his father and the wider Royal Family, while also providing more hands-on support to his British patronages, which include the Halo Trust and Scotty's Little Soldiers. Whether Meghan and their two children will accompany him remains undecided.

Last month's gathering at Highgrove, the King's Gloucestershire estate, was described as a "private family occasion" and marked the first time the 77-year-old monarch, who continues to undergo cancer treatment, had been with his California-based grandchildren, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, in more than four years.
It was also the Duchess of Sussex's first time on British soil since the late Queen's funeral in September 2022.
No photographs or further details of the reunion were made public, though those in Harry's circle described him as "buoyed, very happy and really energised" by the experience.
The family also visited Althorp in Northamptonshire, the Spencer ancestral home and burial place of Diana, Princess of Wales, spending time with Harry's uncle Earl Spencer and his new wife, the Norwegian archaeologist Dr Cat Jarman.
Meghan later shared images on Instagram from the Althorp visit, including a photograph of Harry, Archie and Lilibet in the grounds, with father and son carrying bunches of flowers believed to have been placed at Diana's grave.

A source close to Harry indicated that the pattern established during recent trips has proved effective and will now be replicated more often.

"The template for his visits has been working well, so the frequency of trips will increase, especially in the run-up to Invictus which he's determined to make the best games yet," the source said. "So he'll be coming back and forth a lot more, every few months."
The source added: "The way the wind is blowing, he's going to want to be here more and more.
“He's happy these trips can now have more focus on the patronages and be less obscured by the other nonsense. He wants more of a foothold here, more trips back, less courtroom drama. And he always loves seeing his family."
Harry is also hoping to travel to Ukraine again in the months ahead, having made two visits in the past two years to support those wounded in the conflict with Russia.

Several practical questions remain unresolved ahead of the September trip. It has not yet been determined whether Harry will stay at Buckingham Palace, after he was reportedly denied rooms there last month when palace sources said he had missed a deadline to respond to the King's offer.
The palace also pointed to "constitutional complexity" surrounding the timing of his visit in relation to a recent court judgment.
Charles is expected to be at Balmoral for his summer break when Harry arrives next month, and it is unclear whether the pair will arrange to see one another.
The duke's ongoing dispute with the Home Office over his security arrangements also remains a live issue. He lost a legal challenge last year to have automatic police protection restored during UK visits, and is still pressing for a fresh review of his threat level.
Last month's family visit reportedly passed without any security incidents.
