Travis Clark said that he is "desperately fighting for my wife and my family every single day" two months after announcing that he'd cheated on wife Katie Bates
In his initial statement, Clark confessed to breaking his reality star wife's trust "repeatedly"
His revelation came one day after Bates revealed that she'd suffered a pregnancy loss
Katie Bates' husband, Travis Clark, is trying to make things right after he publicly admitted to cheating on his wife.
In January, the 24-year-old dad to two and husband to the Bringing Up Bates reality star confessed to being unfaithful in his relationship, saying that he "repeatedly" broke Bates' trust.
"There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone. I know that words don’t begin to express the damage I caused or the depth of the hurt I’ve brought into her life, but I am truly sorry," he said in a post on his Instagram Stories on Jan. 17, one day after Clark revealed that she'd suffered a pregnancy loss.
In his initial revelation, Clark wrote, "I am taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome."

On Wednesday, March 4, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts nearly two months after the revelation. The reflection came alongside a photo of him looking at pictures with Bates and their two children — daughter Hailey James, 3, and son Harvey Gray, 18 months — while sitting in the grass.
"I’ve been sitting in what I did for a couple months now, and I feel so much inside but it’s hard to find the right words," he admitted.
Continuing, he wrote, "At the end of last year I made decisions I deeply regret. I’m disappointed, ashamed, and honestly disgusted with myself. The last couple months have been humbling. A lot of hard work, therapy, time with God…"
"I know I’m not owed anything, but I am desperately fighting for my wife and my family every single day. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for our family ❤️🩹," he concluded.

Bates, who made her debut on her family's reality show in 2015, broke her silence on her husband's affair and her pregnancy loss on Jan. 20.
"This is not how I imagined beginning this year or this new season of our lives. This has been an incredibly painful time for me and our family. As many now know, our marriage has been deeply hurt and my trust has been broken. Right now, I am taking life one day at a time and focusing on what matters most: our children, their future, and my own healing," she wrote, adding that it had been Clark's decision to announce his infidelity.
She said, "We are working through this privately, seeking counsel both together and individually as we try to determine the best path forward for our family. I am also being supported by legal counsel. This is not a quick or easy process, and it is not one I am taking lightly. Every decision about our future will be made slowly and carefully, with what is best for our family and our children as the highest priority."

Saying that she did "believe in God's power to restore," Bates said, "My heart's desire is to preserve our marriage."
The following month, she candidly shared that she had enrolled in her "first four day therapy intensive."
"Some days I feel okay and steady, and other days it's hard to even leave the house. I'm just trying to take it one day at a time," she said in a Feb. 22 post on her Instagram Stories. She added, "I don't really feel equipped to handle something like this on my own, so getting help feels important."
After meeting in 2019, Bates and Clark entered a courtship in 2020. They announced their engagement the following April and exchanged vows that December.
