Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are adjusting to parenthood while working through challenges in their relationship, a source tells PEOPLE
The couple welcomed their daughter, Scottie Rose, in December 2025 and named her after Davidson's late father
Davidson recently called fatherhood “exhausting and rewarding” and praised Hewitt as a fantastic mom in a March interview with PEOPLE
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt are working through their relationship issues, a source tells PEOPLE, five months after the couple welcomed their baby girl, Scottie Rose.
“There are issues, but they're trying to figure things out together,” the source tells PEOPLE on Thursday, April 30. "They're adjusting to parenthood and working through the process."
The comedian, 32, and model, 30, consider their baby girl "their top priority," the source continues.

Davidson and Hewitt have been romantically linked since March 2025. In July 2025, the couple announced they were expecting their first child together. Scottie Rose was born on Dec. 12, 2025, and she was named after Davidson's father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died while responding to the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
“Dad life is f--king awesome,” Davidson told PEOPLE in a March interview while discussing his new Crocs campaign. "It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I'm very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can't stress enough how lucky I am.”

In that same interview, the former Saturday Night Live cast member said he felt more “primal” and protective of Scottie.
"It's funny. It's like I didn't understand this. You're just ready to fight anyone," Davidson said at the time. "It's like, chill out. No one's doing anything to your kid,” Davidson, who recently got Scottie's named tattooed near his ear, continued in March.
“You have this overly protective like...if one paparazzi guy pops out I'm going to f--king beat the living s--t out of him," Davidson continued. "So that's a weird gear because I'm not a fighter guy."

Since Scottie was born, the couple have shared photos of her on social media, although they have refrained from showing her face. On March 5, Hewitt celebrated Scottie turning 12 weeks old.
“my scottie girl is 12 weeks old today 💝 on the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she'd be born,” Hewitt wrote on Instagram, alongside a pair of photos of herself cradling her daughter. “my guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. how crazy and cool is that.”
