Rob Kardashian made a rare appearance on social media as he celebrated his sister Khloé Kardashian for her 42nd birthday.

“How blessed am I? Missing a few but they’re always with me ♥️,” the Good American co-founder captioned an Instagram carousel on Tuesday, June 30, days after her June 27 birthday.

In her cover image, Khloé can be seen posing for a group picture with her family — mom Kris Jenner, 70, older sisters Kourtney, 47, and Kim, 45, who held a child with a yellow heart emoji over their face, and her 9-year-old niece Dream Kardashian, the daughter of Rob, 39, and ex-girlfriend Angela Renée White.

Rob, who has noticeably taken a step back from the limelight, was all smiles at the end as he stood by his mom.

“We are so Blessed to have you! We love you so much!!! 🩵🩵🩵💙💙💙🫂,” he commented on the carousel, which included additional shots of him with his daughter at the celebration.

Fans shared their surprise at seeing the reclusive reality star in the post's comments.

“I love you @khloekardashian but I can’t even tell you how happy you made me by sharing a pic of Rob. He seems happy and healthy. My heart is full 🥹🩵,” one person wrote.

Another added, “ROB IS LOOKING REAL FINE DAMNNNNN 😍😍😍.”

Last fall, a source told PEOPLE that Rob was "in a better place and way more comfortable with who he is" after openly struggling with his body image for years.

The insider added that he was at a "point in his life [where] he just doesn't care as much what anyone thinks."

He's "really struggled with body issues and self-confidence for years," the source said at the time, but added that "negative comments don't bother him anymore. He's in a better place and way more comfortable with who he is."

Rob gained popularity after appearing on E!’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians alongside his family when the 20-season series debuted in 2007.

After a nine-year hiatus from their show (which later rebranded on Hulu as The Kardashians), Rob made an appearance on The Kardashians in the season 7 premiere in October 2025.

"Rob loves hanging out with his family. His scenes so far on the show are light and unscripted," the source told PEOPLE at the time. "There is no pressure on him. And he enjoys it."

In the months prior to the premiere, Rob appeared on Khloé’s Khloé in Wonderland podcast where he shut down rumors of a rift between his siblings being the reason for him not being seen with them.

"It just has everything to do with myself,” he said. "There's definitely nothing wrong between any of us. I'm not comfortable in my skin, so why would I wanna go be on camera and just be vulnerable and let people in? That's not what I wanna do."
