The actor tells PEOPLE that the series was "always pitched to me as a three-season arc," so he's known how Xavier's story wraps up from the start
Brown, who is the face of Shipt's new "No Order Is Ordinary" campaign and the company's chief storyteller, promises that fans will be "deeply satisfied" with how season 3 wraps
Sterling K. Brown has no doubts about how well Paradise season 3 will wrap things up.
Dan Fogelman's hit Hulu thriller has been renewed for season 3 and production has already begun on the installment, which Brown tells PEOPLE he's "delighted" with so far. "I feel like it's the third act of a film. The first two seasons have been building up to what's happening right now," he says.
Brown, 50, adds that the series was "always pitched to me as a three-season arc," so he's known how Xavier's story wraps up since the beginning. "It was one of the things that drew me to the project in the first place. I looked at it like a big movie," he says.

"I believe our audience is going to be deeply satisfied with how we land. We're going to finish it up," says Brown, who spoke with PEOPLE at Shipt's New York City pop-up on Friday, April 24 to celebrate the brand's "No Order Is Ordinary" campaign.
Brown is the star of the new ad spot, as well as the company's chief storyteller, and says of his partnership with the same-day delivery service: "The message behind it really is true, because it takes something off of my plate that takes me away from my family, that takes me away from moments of connection with the people that I care about. And then somebody else is taking care of it in a way that feels thoughtful."

The response to Paradise, which premiered in 2025 and also stars James Marsden, Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom and Krys Marshall, has surprised both Brown and Fogelman, 50.
"It's been huge — huge in a way that I don't know if either Dan or I anticipated it," Brown says. "We went to Brazil for Comic-Con this past season and the response that we got was massive. For season 1, we went to London and we went to France, and we were like, 'Folks are messing with this show everywhere.'"

"I shot, in between season 1 and season 2, in Australia, I was working on Voltron, and while I was there, the show was on the air. And I had people coming up to me and being like, 'Yo, Paradise,'" he adds.
"I feel like This Is Us had a following and I think it started off more nationally and then grew over time to be international," he says of his first series with Fogelman. "It feels like Paradise hit the globe in a way that I don't think... That we didn't anticipate. It's been lovely."
Disney and Hulu announced on March 27 that Paradise was renewed for season 3. The first two seasons of Paradise are now streaming on Hulu.
