Two anonymous sources “familiar with the event” confirmed that the couple have asked attendees to dress in black tie at the reported “garden party”-themed ceremony on July 3. For men, this means a black tuxedo jacket, trousers, and a white collared shirt, while women usually are expected to wear floor-length dresses.

One of the sources confirmed that “many of the women attending will be wearing gowns” to Friday’s event, which will begin with a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. The same insider also said that both the more intimate rehearsal dinner on June 2 and Friday’s wedding will have a no-phone policy for guests as well as security and vendors.

Swift and Kelce will reportedly host 1,000 guests during the Friday wedding, meaning original squad members and newer friends will be pulling out their best black tie looks for the star-studded events. Stars like Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, the Haim sisters, Suki Waterhouse, Zoë Kravitz and Sabrina Carpenter are expected to attend, as well as Kelce’s Chiefs teammates and coach Andy Reid, who was spotted getting fitted in a tuxedo in an Instagram photo shared on June 12.
According to recent reports, the “Love Story” singer will also be making a dramatic style statement on her big day with several outfit changes. Swift is reportedly considering several custom bridal looks from Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia of Monse, who were previously co-creative directors at Oscar de la Renta. There are also rumors that Swift will say “I do” to Kelce in a timeless gown inspired by the ivory seed pearl-encrusted wedding dress famously worn by actress Elizabeth Taylor during her first wedding in 1950.
