Travis Kelce recently did Patrick Mahomes‘ impression again, and fans can’t help but point out how accurate it is. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end and his teammate have been friends for nine seasons and never miss a chance to express their adoration for each other. Kelce did it once more in the new clip shared on the team’s official Instagram page.

Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes have been by each other’s side through a lot. They know each other better than most. So, it hardly comes as a surprise that Kelce can do an impression of his friend, but fans certainly find it delightful. During an interview after a recent camp training experience, the tight end impersonated Mahomes.

Crediting his friend’s voice, which he described as somewhere between Kermit the Frog and Tony the Tiger, he specifically praised Mahomes’ cadence. He also said that the father-of-three’s play-calling, along with his voice, contributes to his excellence as a leader.

Referring to the quarterback as his “brother,” Kelce said, “I’m so proud of him for the way he handled adversity from last year to right now.” NFL fans will remember that Mahomes had to stop playing mid-season last season due to his ACL tear. However, he is back at training camp this year and preparing to play the 2026-27 season.

Fans could not help but gush over the duo’s friendship in the video’s comments. One user wrote, “Hearing him speak like this, I’m so proud of him…” Really represents healthy male relationship.” Another commented, “His impression of Pat never gets old.”

While one fan mused, “That ‘hut hut hut’ was spot on,” another joked, “Kermit De Frog made an appearance via Trav.” In early July 2026, Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, also attended Kelce’s wedding to Grammy-winning musician Taylor Swift.
