New Houston Texans wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. will play on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Following Houston's win this past Sunday over Tennessee, the Texans completed the trade with Arizona for Harrison, which included a 2027 second-round pick being sent to the Cardinals.

It's a quick turnaround for Harrison Jr., who will now be tasked with learning a new offense on the fly, while also having to prepare for a game in London.

"'What is he able to pick up on? We'll make sure it's as easy as possible for him," said Texans' HC DeMeco Ryans, via Aaron Wilson. "Don't expect him to play all 60 snaps. Make sure he has what he needs and he's confident in what we need him to do."

While it wasn't until Wednesday afternoon that Ryans made it official that Harrison Jr. will see at least some playing time on Sunday, Liam Coen and the Jaguars were already planning for him to be available.

"We showed some of Marvin's clips today in terms of what he's been able to do in Arizona, maybe some areas of the field they may try to use him," Liam Coen said on Wednesday. "I mean, it's probably going to be hard to get him into a full game plan, but shoot, we did it with Jakobi last year, and I know Marvin is smart and he works hard."

Harrison Jr. reunites with CJ Stroud, who was his college quarterback at Ohio State during the 2022 season. That year, Harrison Jr. caught 77 passes for 1,263 yards and 14 touchdowns.

In two-plus seasons with the Cardinals, Harrison Jr., a former fourth overall pick, has caught 108 passes for 1,578 yards with 13 touchdowns.
