X-Men Movie Sets Release Date, Cast Includes Adam Driver, Inde Navarrette, & More

After months of rumors, the X-Men movie cast has officially been revealed, along with the highly anticipated film’s release date.
During Disney’s D23 Expo, the company unveiled its latest announcements for a ton of properties, including some huge Marvel news. At the show, Kevin Feige made his way out and revealed that X-Men will release on May 5, 2028. Should no other movies be announced before it, X-Men will be the first MCU movie that releases after 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars.

In addition to the release date, Marvel Studios also unveiled the long-awaited cast for the movie. In the most shocking news, it was revealed that Obsession star Inde Navarrette will star as Rogue in the upcoming movie.

Alongside her, the cast will feature Sadie Sink as Jean Grey, Kit Connor as Cyclops, Samara Weaving as Emma Frost, Christopher Abbott as Professor Charles Xavier, Maya Boyd as Storm, and Adam Driver as Nathaniel Milbury/Mister Sinister. While many of these roles were already rumored or heavily hinted at, we now officially know who will be the face of the MCU era of X-Men.
At the moment, still next to nothing on what the movie directed by Jake Schreier will actually be about is known. While the main cast is now revealed, fans will undoubtedly be hoping for more information on what the movie will be about. Whether or not it’s an origin story of the group or not, we now have a great idea of how the next phase of the MCU will go, and who will be at the forefront of it.
