Jeremy Piven has gained attention after his throwback photo with Jake Paul and Adrian Grenier went viral. Piven took to Instagram and shared the rare photo on August 15, along with the caption that read:
“Name this man band …. Fun day that felt like no time has passed. Will drop it in a few weeks.”
The photo has faced criticism online as it features Paul and Piven, both of whom have previously faced s*xual assault allegations. Grenier has never been accused of s*xual misconduct, though he has received backlash for a controversial Instagram post in September 2015.
Some fans mocked the image, referring to the trio as a “g*y band.” A user wrote on Threads:
“You still have time to delete this.”
Others also took to the social media platform to express their opinions on the image.

When Jeremy Piven shared a throwback photo with Jake Paul and Adrian Grenier, fans immediately took to the comments section to mock the image.
A user said:

The mockery is largely driven by dislike of Paul, as they are sensitive due to the past allegations against him. According to a BBC report, TikTok star Justine Paradise has accused Jake Paul of s*xually assaulting her at his Los Angeles home in 2019. She alleged that the 29-year-old professional boxer “grabbed her face and forced her to perform oral s*x on him and touched her without her consent.
The report further stated that she made allegations on YouTube. She stated that she waited for two years since she had signed a non-disclosure agreement. Jake Paul faces another accusation by a model and actress, Railey Lollie. A report in Business Insider stated that Lollie had claimed that Paul forcefully groped her without her consent in late 2017. She alleged that Paul made inappropriate remarks during the encounter.
In addition to Jake Paul, Piven has also faced accusations of s*xual assault and misconduct from multiple women starting in late 2017 and early 2018. A total of eight women have publicly accused Piven of inappropriate behavior, including forced kissing, groping, and aggressive advances. The alleged incidents reportedly date back as far back as 1985 and as recently as 2009 on the set of HBO series Entourage.

Piven has denied all the allegations, calling them false and fabricated. On the other hand, Jake Paul has also denied the s*xual assault allegations made against him by Paradise in April 2021. He has reportedly called the claims "100% false" and an attempt to manufacture attention.
Grenier was criticized in September 2015 for a controversial Instagram post on the anniversary of the September 11 attacks. The Entourage actor shared a graphic of the Twin Towers with the caption:
“R.I.P the 2,996 Americans who died in 9/11. R.I.P the 1,455,590 innocent Iraqis who died during the U.S. invasion for something they didn’t do.”
Grenier’s post was viewed as disrespectful by most people since it appeared on the day dedicated to mourning the victims of the 2001 terrorist attacks. Commentators deemed it as "disrespectful" and "unpatriotic" and poorly timed.
